Pag-aresto kay Duterte, hiniling sa Int’l Criminal Court ng abogado ni Matobato

Sinampahan si Pangulong Duterte ng reklamong crime against humanity  sa International Criminal Court sa The Hague, Netherlands. Ipinaaaresto rin ng mga nagreklamo ang Presidente at kanyang mga opisyal.

Naglabas naman ng pahayag noong lunes ang spokesperson ng pangulo na si Ernesto Abella.

“The timing of the filing of the case is suspect-apparently meant to create negative news in the midst of the Philippines ASEAN debut,” 
"The intent of this filing in ICC is clearly to embarrass and shame the president, and undermine the duly constituted government of the Philippines,” dagdag pa niya.

Ayon naman kay Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, ang nasabing reklamo ay isa lamang umanong black propaganda.

“Apparently, the intention is to black propaganda [sic] the president, hoping that media worldwide would catch on it and paint the president as a murderer when, in fact, he's only doing his constitutional duty to protect and preserve this country,” pahayag ni Panelo.

 

“It will fail in making the people believe in the validity of the charge,” dagdag pa niya.
