Donald Trump bagong US President

MANILA, Philippines -  Ginulat ni Republican Donald Trump ang buong mundo sa pagkakapanalo nito sa kakatapos lamang na 2016 US elections kahapon.

 Nakakuha si Trump ng 289 electoral votes habang 218 boto kay Clinton. Hindi makapaniwala ang mga supporters ni Democrat Hillary Clinton sa laki ng lamang ni Trump. Agad namang tinanggap ni Clinton ang kanyang pagkatalo at binati si Trump sa telepono.

Agad na umakyat ng stage ng kanilang headquarters sa New York si President-elect Trump kasama ang kanyang pamilya at upang isa-isang pasalamatan ang mga taong tumulong sa kanila.

Sa kanyang victory speech, sinabi ni Trump na panahon na upang magkaisa ang kanilang bansa. 

“The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer,” 
“Now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division,” 
“It is time for us to come together as one united people. It’s time.” pahayag ni Trump.

 Nagpaabot naman ng pagbati kay Trump si President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

“President Rodrigo Roa Duterte wishes to extend his warm congratulations to Mr. Donald Trump on his recent electoral victory as President of the United States of America. The United States presidential elections is a testament to the enduring traditions of its democratic system and the American way of life. The two-party system gives American voters freedom of choice based on party platforms, not just on personalities,” pahayag ni Presidential Communications Sec. Martin Andanar.
