8,000 hanggang 50,000 ang halaga ng ticket sa Miss Universe 2016 pageant

Mabibili na ang ticket para sa gaganaping  Miss Universe 2016 pageant sa darating na December 20, 2016. Ang nasabing ticket ay magkakahalaga ng 8,000 hanggang 50,000. Ang nasabing patimpalak ay gaganapin sa Mall of Asia Arena sa January 30, 2017.

“The sales of the ticket will start on December 20. The tickets will be more or less $1000, or about P50,000. That’s for the VIP. For the general admission, it will probably be around $160, more or less, or about P8,000. That’s the cheapest,” pahayag ni Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo noong lunes.

“Book and buy ‘yan. Once you book, you have to buy right away. There will be no reservations,” dagdag pa niya.

200 VIP tickets na lamang ang natitira dahil karamihan sa mga ito ay nakareserve na umano ng Miss Universe Organization (MUO).

Sa kabilang banda itinanggi naman ni MUO president Paula Shugart ang report na isa si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa magiging judge ng patimpalak.

"We established a policy a long time ago not to have government officials as judges because they have to be neutral. It's very hard. I think there's a lot of pressure when you're the host country. That's a policy that we have to enforce," pahayag niya.
