Boracay, tinaguriang World’s Best Island for 2016

Tinanghal na World's Best Island ang Boracay ng Condé Nast Traveler 2016 Readers’ ‘Choice Awards.

Pumangalawa sa listahan ang Palawan na syang itinanghal na World's best Island noong nakaraang taon habang pasok din ang Cebu sa ikalimang puwesto.

Ayon sa Condé Nast ang Boracay ay"itty-bitty island" that is "as close to a tropical idyll as you’ll find in Southeast Asia, with gentle coastlines and transporting sunsets."

Add in a thriving nightlife scene, and you have one of the top tourist spots in the region," dagdag pa nito.

Pangunahing atraksyon din umano ng isla ang "powdery white sand and shallow azure water ideal for swimming and snorkeling." 

Sinabi din ng magazine na ang Cebu ay "not as wild as Phuket in Thailand" but it is "more personal, with plenty of up-and-coming restaurants and shopping."

Matatagpuan din sa Palawan bukod pa sa nakakabighaning isla at beaches nito ang Puerto Princesa Subterranean River.
